Reminder regarding PCSSD Covid Protocol:
STUDENT POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
● If a student tests positive for COVID-19, a guardian must notify the PCSSD Point of Contact.
Doing so will assist in monitoring student's attendance to avoid truancy (reported to the
Department of Human Services). Email an image of test results from a medical facility ( i.e.
urgent care, doctor's office); no home test will be accepted.
○ Email: covidcontact@pcssd.org
● If a student tests positive for COVID-19, he/she must isolate for at least five (5) days.
● On day six (6), he/she may return to school if:
○ no symptoms or symptoms are resolving; and
○ no fever for 48 hours (without medication).
● After five (5) days of isolation, it is strongly recommended that he/she continue to wear a
mask around others through the 10th day from testing positive.
